Exfoliating Konjac Sponge is an innovative method of exfoliation.
Konjac is a perennial herb (from the Aroid family and known in Japan as Konnyaku)) and since ancient times it has been widely used as a medical and edible natural plant It does not contain any preservatives or artificial pigment, is extremely soft and gentle and, thus, is perfect for use on sensitive skin.
The unique network structure of the sponge gently massages the skin, stimulating blood circulation and regenerating cells whilst exfoliating dead skin cells and cleansing the face…. leaving behind a “Colloid Film” to nourish, hydrate and protect your skin, naturally.
Konjac is naturally alkaline and PH neutral, with added antibacterial and antifungal properties to eliminate spots, blackheads and dead surface skin cells. It not only removes the correct amount of dead skin but is super effective at doing so with no over-exfoliating occurring which does happen with face gel and cream scrub.

How to Use: Make sure the sponge is thoroughly wet before use: (it will be hard when dry). Use one or two pumps of the face wash or cleanser. You will find you need less product than usual as the sponge helps to create a beautifully rich lather to lightly exfoliate and cleanse the skin prior to applying your chosen Facial Oil and Moisturiser.
Why should you exfoliate? When you’re dead skin cells hang about too long it causes spots and dullness to the skin and this is the easy/perfect way to move them on. Simply keep the Exfoliating Konjac Sponge in the shower and use it 1-2 times a week..
Tips: Please note the Konjac Exfoliating Sponge is 100% natural and biodegradable (it can go in your compost bin!) and so it lasts for around 8 weeks. It will last longer if water is squeezed out of it and it is hung up to dry after every use. Please also note, that this product is not a wash sponge and should not be used to remove make-up as this will degenerate the sponge.
